This is just... confusing. So a guy looking at porn showing women is... gay?

Gees, I thought it just made me a deviant. And now I'm really confused, since, well... I'm a guy... and I like women. So... um... what does that make me?

I don't understand the logic in these people that say the things they do about porno. The thing is they probably watch it themselves. I just believe that this is to try and instill fear in those ignorant folks still out there. Some of the things that are said are so mind boggling to me. I just cannot believe the ignorance of our Country! These people are supposed to represent us...we the people. Makes me ill. I just cannot understand! If pornography makes you gay then what does having sex do? That's my question and I am almost afraid to get an answer. I don't watch porno but I believe in the freedom to watch it but then again I live in a state (Alabama) that made sex toys illegal to buy!!!

And like ALL other 12 year old boys, I looked at porn, and apparently it was gay porn, which I was unaware of.

Uh huh. Guy apparently has never had a kid. If you tell an 11 year old boy that looking at naked girls makes you gay, he'll tell you the truth: you're full of shit. And then he'll continue looking at pictures of naked girls.

...I was driving down I-15 through Utah and saw the following billboard on the side of the road...

The billboard showed a large snake (I believe it was a rattlesnake) with it's fangs hanging down and looking all menacing. Next to the snake it said: "Porn - Just As Dangerous!"

But no...I'm not interested in trying to bring sight to the blind. I, to a fault (pun intended), am seriously introspective. Things happen in my life and upon staring too long and too hard, I get rather down.

Then I look with these soiled eyes at human [so-called] civilization and it seems to be a futile effort to not only control chaos, but to hold back the tide of our natural, destructive instincts.

Then before I know it, I'm too far down the rabbit hole to know which way is up. At that point, I just go with the flow...no matter where it takes me. Today...well...it took me to a dark, self-defeating place. And, I've found, the best way to get the toxins out is to write them down. Afterwards, the only thing to do is hope that tomorrow will be better. :-)

Look at me, the uber Liberal! Ha ha ha! I can empathize with introspection, and finding fault within. giggle I have been known to stay up 1/2 the night obsessing over some poorly written or thought out comment I've posted here, or a response I can't stop mulling over. Of course, rather than get up and fire up the computer and deal with whatever I need to, I stay in bed all warm and snuggly and stew about it until the alarm goes off. sigh

Just remember that at best, we're just human, and the really bad examples of human-kind don't represent all of humanity. There is only one Hitler, Stalin, Cheney, Mao...and collectively, they represent a very small percentage of the population.

The glass can be 1/2 full. Or even 3/4 full! It all depends on perspective. :)

It's just how I'm made. Can't fight who you are right? So I just go with the flow whever it takes me. But I appreciate the understanding and honesty. I know that not all of humanity is dark and evil. But it's the ones who are that I worry most about.

Surprisingly, the ridiculous statements of the Conservatives don't always have to be just annoying and bothersome. They can occasionally cause a giggle or two.

I think it's best to take this video at what it's worth, a stupid display of stupid ideas. While it is alarming that someone in a government position believes that something as asinine as this could be remotely close to anything that makes sense, I'm just gonna take it at funny face-value.
